He tests it with Roxy's help, but she soon becomes exasperated with Dolittle's eccentricities and leaves him. Dr. Dolittle manages to make himself look like an alien using some of his own inventions, but since he had only planned to test it on Roxy, he doesn't want to discourage her by telling her that it worked; instead, he pretends that she is the first person he has transformed into an alien. Roxy is overjoyed. Meanwhile, the "Solar Hero" explodes in the sky. Dr. Dolittle promises to repair it at his arrival, but he is denied entry into England because of British Alien Control laws, leaving Dolittle unable to fulfill his promise. After Roxy has taken him home, he tells her what happened with the "Solar Hero". They are both upset that they have no way to know if Dolittle had already completed repairing it by then. On his arrival at Heathrow Airport after being denied entry into England, Dr. Dolittle meets a British family which had been watching him on their television set at the time of the "Solar Hero" explosion. The daughter, Sally, had been building a spaceship in her bedroom and has found a way to communicate with him. The two of them get to know each other, and she becomes his first human friend, much to Roxy's dismay. However, Dolittle is still pursued by the British Domestic Animal Defense Agency (DADA), led by Mr. Bean. When capture seems imminent after he takes Sally on board the "Solar Hero", Dr. Dolittle hides under his bed in terror; Roxy consoles him and he comes up with an idea to help defend himself against DADA. cfa1e77820
