Girgit movie in hindi download 720p Talwinder Singh Chandi and Gurinder Chadha, the makers of the world-renowned film Bend It Like Beckham, introduce their new movie, "Girgit". A Bollywood romance with a twist; Girgit is an epic love story about two people from different worlds. Don't be fooled by its title - Girgit is not the typical 'item number' like most Bollywood films offer. There are no songs and dance numbers in it. It is a story of a young Punjabi boy from the northwest Indian state of India, who falls in love with a Jewish girl from Mumbai. Girgit is a brilliant movie that will touch your heart and fill it with joy. The movie revolves around two university students, Ankit and Sarah, who fall in love over a shared love for Punjabi singing. It explores the culture clash between contemporary urban India and traditional Punjabi life. It shows how their thoughts and beliefs clash as they try to find ways to stay together outside their different worlds.Gurinder Chadha was approached by producer Raj Singh to develop a romantic comedy set in Punjab that had an authentic look and feel. Ankit, a Punjabi boy in his early 20s studying in Mumbai, falls in love with Sarah, who is Jewish. Initially they are not able to communicate beyond their own worlds because of their different cultural backgrounds. Eventually the two fall in love. Ankit is an aspiring singer-songwriter who works as a cashier at a local pharmacy called 'Egs'. He falls in love with the pharmacy's manager, Sarah. His family has little understanding of her religion and heritage. It is only after she shows interest in him that he reveals his true identity to them. The Indian media have often been critical of shortcomings in Bollywood, from poor production values to its lack of respect for the subjects. However, the current generation of filmmakers have been successful in portraying an authentic India rather than a distorted one. Girgit draws parallels between traditional Punjabi society and Mumbai's contemporary urban culture. Acclaimed director Gurinder Chadha has referred to Girgit as "herstory". The film portrays the clash between modern-day capitalistic forces and traditional rural values; it is an Indian film with a global theme. Gurinder Chadha, director of Bend It Like Beckham and Bride and Prejudice, has been inspired by the Punjabi community. After living in the UK for over 30 years, she has been able to understand their culture and traditions. Gurinder Chadha's look at Punjabi heritage in a present day environment is a unique perspective. Aamir Khan Productions was one of the film's producers. Aamir Khan was one of Gurinder Chadha's biggest critics after he watched her film "Bend It Like Beckham". In 2005 he called it "dreadful". His views changed when he saw her latest work called GIRGIT for which she won the National Award from India.. cfa1e77820
